Mermaids and Me

In 2018, I had the incredible opportunity to teach on a cruise ship, which took me to the enchanting city of Copenhagen. One of the highlights of this journey was witnessing the iconic Little Mermaid statue, gracefully perched by the water's edge. Surrounded by eager visitors, the statue exuded a magical allure that captivated everyone, including myself. This experience left an indelible mark on my heart, sparking a newfound passion that has since become an integral part of my artistic journey.

Ever since that memorable day, I have been irresistibly drawn to painting and creating mermaids. The ethereal beauty and mystique of these mythical creatures inspire me to explore the depths of my imagination and bring them to life on canvas. Through my art, I aim to capture the enchanting essence of mermaids, inviting others to experience the same sense of wonder and fascination that I felt in Copenhagen.
